Diabetic Nutrition and Meal Plans

Medical nutrition therapy aids in prevention of diabetes. Nutritional Therapy is integral component of diabetes self-management education.  Diabetes mellitus is a collection of metabolic diseases in which there are high blood sugar levels over an extended period. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. Proper meal plans should be followed in order to prevent diabetes.
