Diet and Weight Management

Many factors contribute to the weight of the person, including diet, physical activity, genetics, medications, and illnesses. Each of these factors affects weight in different ways, but most often health professionals emphasize the importance of diet and physical activity above all other factors as strategic behavior intervention can affect them. The research behind weight management is complex, but Energy Balance is one of the key concepts that help weight management. Energy Balance is the idiom used to explain the difference between the number of calories consumed by an individual and the number of calories expended by the same person over a given period.
